David Crowfoot, is the director of Footwork First and cofounder of cowzen. David started applying Lean principles, tools and techniques in their natural home of manufacturing but most of his career has been outside this sector. David started to take Lean into farming firstly in Horticulture, Arable and Pig Farming. Then collaborating with

Then collaborating with his cowzen colleagues, adapted Lean for dairy, enabling farm teams to boost efficiency and delivery lasting improvements.

Dan is a practicing Dairy Vet and cofounder of cowzen, he graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012 and went straight into dairy vetting starting with an internship and then staying on as an associate at a large dairy practice. Dan is a practicing Dairy Vet and cofounder of cowzen, he graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012 and went straight into dairy vetting starting with an internship and then staying on as an associate at a large dairy practice. Most of Dan's work is with high yielding herds, but Dan enjoys working with driven farmers from different systems looking to push on and become more efficient. He also does a lot of work in milk quality and udder health with dairy farmers across the UK and Europe.
